Students taking the Marketing Plan Toolset course will have the opportunity to assemble a facility marketing plan and conduct a target market analysis for future of their individual site or a “demo” site of the students choosing. This program will include an examination of a variety of marketing strategies, promotional techniques and a self inspection process to identify each facility’s niche in their own community.
Students taking the Site Assessment Toolset course will have the experience of conducting a multifaceted confidential assessment of the operations, management, marketplace and future of their individual site or a “demo” site of the students choosing. This process will help administrators and staff identify strengths, weaknesses, trends, etc. that have significant influence on the success/survival of small facilities in Nevada. In addition, each facility will conduct a Stakeholder Analysis to identify important forces associated with the development of a site market plan and to facilitate problem solving in the future.
